Ryan EversonI had seen Tara Chandler (IFBB Pro) training for shows in the past, and I've always been competitive in sports.  I decided to do it just to try it, and eventually met Jason Phillips (Bodybuilding.com Trainer of the Month) and Catherine Holland (IFBB Pro) at the 2008 Emerald Cup where they helped fix my spray tan between pre-judging and the evening finals.  I've trained with Jason now since May 2008, and I can honestly say this has been the best year of my life!

Seeing the changes I've made over the last year motivates me every day.  It's such an incredible feeling to push myself to the next level...and I want to be a role model for those hoping to change their lives in the gym!  I LOVE putting my body to the test on a daily basis.

Looking at pictures of myself during college (I suffered from disordered eating) reminds me how far I've come!  Also, setting personal goals along the way keep me on track.  Number one motivation right now?  Knowing there's always someone out there who might be training harder than me...which makes me kick it up a notch.

I've always been a competitive person, and I knew after my first show last year that I was capable of so much more.  It just didn't feel right...I looked at pictures and was frustrated!  When I started training with Jason last May, I knew immediately that my success really MATTERS to them.  I push myself every day, because I know that this is a team effort...along with the support of my family and friends.

I 'm 44, and a mother of 4.  After so many years of putting everyone in my life first, I had realized I had let myself "go".  I was tired of being tired & out of shape.  I found bodybuilding.com and after much research, I found Jason. I knew he would be the "one" that I could help me with my weight-loss journey.  Jason took the time to answer my endless silly questions of how do I do this or that and never gave up on me.  He was so encouraging and I was always amazed at how patient he was with me.

All of these words and phrases can be used to describe Jason Phillips.  It is a pleasure and honor to share my experience as a client of Jason’s. Frankly, as a former collegiate athlete, I had a sense that I knew exactly what I needed, for myself.  Since the first session with Jason, he designed a program just right for me. He also adjusts my workout as necessary to accommodate any special needs that I may have to ensure that I have a well-balanced routine. Jason demonstrates each and every time how the equipment works, and what kind of results I will see. He keeps me focused at the task at hand, which keeps me motivated. Jason explains that the weight training workout is only part of the overall program; cardio workout and diet are also important components. Jason helps you to understand what your body needs, which helps you to avoid injury and improve strength and flexibility. Most importantly, he asks questions.  As an example: about your diet, and makes recommendations based on your nutritional needs in order to promote good health and corresponding to the overall expectations that we have established together. I never thought that a one hour workout would be so involved, extensive, or exhausting. But, Jason is with you every step of the way and coaches with gentle firmness to overcome any bad habits. I am very pleased with the results and having a trainer like Jason, who does NOT keep doing the same boring exercises over and over again, is key to success. In summary, if you want definite results, valuable additions to your strength program, and you want a REAL trainer that pays attention to more than group workout – I highly recommend Jason Phillips!

I found Jason to be truly inspiring, knowledgeable and motivational.  He mixes humor with pure business and pushes me to achieve more that I thought I could and perhaps more than I planned on.  He has awakened the desire in me to be not only just fit, but healthy and strong.  I love that he knows what we need to do, how we need to do it and how much we really can do.  He always tailors the workout to meet the needs of each person in the group not leaving anyone behind.  Each and every one of us leaves the session feeling flush with success and renewed courage to do more the next day.

Since I started training with Jason, my workouts and my attitude have reached a whole new level. As a former athlete in school, I was always in shape and understood the importance of maintaining a healthy weight and proper nutrition. However, after the birth of my twins, I gained a lot of weight, wasn't eating right, and didn't feel good about myself.  I began training with Jason, knowing that I needed to push myself to obtain my goals. In as little as one month, Jason was able to generate results that I would have never been able to obtain on my own.  Jason has truly unlocked my body's full potential and I look forward to my workout every morning.

During the first week of training, I lost 7 lbs! I couldn't believe it. It was one of the most challenging weeks not only physically, but mentally.  After 4 months of working with Jason on my training and nutrition, I am down 25 lbs and down 4 dress sizes! Jason is so passionate and enthusiastic about his workouts, and he gives his all as a trainer. He keeps me motivated to work hard. He challenges me to my physical and mental limits so I get the best results possible.  He takes pride in seeing his clients' bodies change, and is on top of our nutrition. In the short time I have been training with Jason, I have gained tremendous strength, flexibility, and I have a new perspective on what I can accomplish with my body and mind.

Playing sports in high school and college, going to the gym and having trainers, and taking fitness classes, I have had my share of coaches and trainers and none of them give what I have gotten from training with Jason - he gives real results and gives the support I need.  I train with Jason three times a week for an hour and in that hour he keeps it real all while kicking my butt.  Not to mention, everyday the workouts are different and creative, which keeps it interesting. I honestly can say I look forward to going because I never know what to expect and because I like the challenge.  He has the ability to give a challenge to people of all fitness levels, from couch potatoes to the elite, he can kick your butt and give you one hell of a workout.  At the same time, I know I can go to him anytime for advice on nutrition, healthy living, or whatever I need to get the results I want, and that is where he is a great coach and mentor.  I am a very skeptical person and was skeptical at first, but the workouts and advice do give you the results you want.  I have also started working with Jason on a nutrition program and the results are amazing! My friends were telling me it looked as though I tightened up overnight!  If you're looking for a trainer that can give you the results you want, and someone who can be your coach as well, then I think you'll find that Jason Phillips will be a great asset to your fitness program.  You won't be disappointed!

I am a 42-year-old mother of two teenagers, a wife and an owner/general manager of a restaurant.  To say the least I am a very busy person.  My life revolves around food and exercise has just never fit in.  After listening to the buzz around town, I decided it was time to put just one hour a day aside for myself.  I knew I needed something serious to get me going and start achieving my personal goal, which is to lose 20 pounds. 

Day one, I started with an open mind and it has been an incredible experience.  Jason has worked muscles that I never new existed.  His method of training is to encompass the entire body as a whole, as well as target those individual areas most women need to work on.  We have not had 2 workouts the same so it is always fun to see what he has up his sleeve next.  Since the first week, my endurance levels have raised considerably.  I plan on continuing towards my personal goal, as well as continuing to train. 

After almost 7 months training with Jason, my daughter and I have also started working with him on our nutrition.  We are both now close to reaching our weight loss goals! His knowledge is vast and his explanation is simple.  He clarified many myths that are out there and I do believe that even though I love food...I will be able to make some healthier choices as I move forward.
